12715657 1706391852908440 4089134274888758655 n 590x590 Who?Lance Richardson is a writer and photographer based in New York. He is currently writing a book, House of Nutter, to be published in 2018 by Crown Archetype (US) and Chatto & Windus (UK).

After earning a degree in anthropology, Lance began working for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, covering anything from the war-torn north of Sri Lanka to indigenous tourism initiatives in the Andean altiplano of Peru. He has contributed to The New Yorker, Al Jazeera, Slate, The New York Times, The Village VoiceNew York MagazineThe Atlantic, The Paris ReviewThe Guardian, The Australian Financial Review, Guernica, and several international editions of GQ. His first solo photography exhibition, de MéXICO‘, premiered at China Heights Gallery in Surry Hills, Sydney, on 6 August 2010.

Lance has a masters degree in longform journalism from the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, NYU.
